Rockwall, TX (July 2, 2024) — The Rockwall County Democrats would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the CASA Kids Birthday Gift Bags initiative for the month of June. Your generous donations have brought joy and hope to many children under the care of Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
For over 30 years, Lone Star CASA has been dedicated to providing the courts with crucial information to act in the best interests of abused and neglected children in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties. Their mission is to ensure these children are placed in safe, permanent homes as swiftly as possible, a mission we are proud to support.
The gift bags not only bring smiles to the faces of these children on their birthdays but also reinforce their sense of being valued and remembered.
We are excited to announce that we are already planning our next round of contributions for December, aiming to bring festive cheer and warmth to more CASA children during the holiday season. We look forward to your continued support and generosity as we strive to make a difference in these young lives.
