For 30 years, Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has worked to provide our courts with the information needed to act in the best interests of abused and neglected children in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties, and to ensure that they’re placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.

Ways to Give

Other Ways to Give: Donation Items, Drive Ideas, and More

Catering

Are you a restaurant or food provider who wants to help honor our volunteers? Donate meals, snack trays, or treats for our volunteer appreciation events such as closed case luncheons, as well as information sessions and training classes. Contact info@lonestarcasa.org.

Silent Auction

Donate a specialty item, tickets to a special experience, gift certificate to a local restaurant or store, or entire basket of gifts for a silent auction at one of our fundraising event. All proceeds raised benefit the kids we serve. Contact beth@lonestarcasa.org.

Event Sponsor

Become an event sponsor to receive event perks and generous marketing benefits while giving back to kids who need our support the most in our community. Visit lonestarcasa.org/bunco to learn more.

Wine for Bunco

Help us collect specialty wine for our Wine Pull at Bunco & Bubbles. Donate top-tier wine and champagne so that we have the best of the best for Wine Pull winners. All proceeds raised benefit the kids we serve. Contact beth@lonestarcasa.org to learn more.

Forever Stamps

Donate forever stamps that we can use on our monthly mailings that celebrate advocate milestones such as birthdays and CASA anniversaries. Contact info@lonestarcasa.org.

New Winter Wear

Help CASA kids stay warm & cozy with a winter wear drive or individual donation! We will accept new coats, jackets, gloves, & other winter wear items ranging from 0-3M to XXL sizes for infants to young adults!

New Books

From board books for our youngest kids to graphic novels and chapter books for adolescents and teens in our care, help us give the gift of knowledge and adventure this holiday season.

Gift Cards - Teens

Gift cards of $25 – $50 to Uber, Amazon, Target, Walmart, or Visa will help our teens greatly. Living in independent care or attending college, they need help getting around and purchasing necessities.

Gift Cards - Kids

Gift Cards of just $5, $10, or $15 to Target, Walmart, or Visa will help our younger kids in care build ownership and independence. Help kids in care gain financial literacy while treating themselves!

Other Items

Throughout the year, we collect items for birthday baskets, infant care, and craft & learning activities. Contact info@lonestarcasa.org to learn what we may need the most regarding these categories.

Support Our Advocates

Donate a variety of items that our volunteers and staff may use as they help a child in protective care. We happily accept gasoline cards to visit kids placed in facilities across Texas. Also, we can use gift certificates to restaurants, movies, or sporting events during visits with children.

Donate Through Amazon Wishlist

Help our CASA kids celebrate milestones, such as birthdays, graduations, holidays, adoptions and reunifications by providing gifts with Amazon Wishlist! This way, you can purchase specific items that we need. View our Wishlist here.

Donate With Stocks

Compared with donating cash or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you can automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.
