Office Manager-Part Time

The Office Manager will maintain Lone Star CASA’s office operations and equipment along with the website. This position will process payroll and ensure accurate financial documenting and reporting to ensure Lone Star CASA is in compliance with all regulatory laws along with grant requirements. In addition, this role will support the Executive Director and Board of Directors as needed.  This role supports the fulfillment of the Lone Star CASA mission.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping and office management or administration
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Premier Nonprofits Edition, computers and software applications including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Superior time management skills, communication (both verbal and written), multi-tasking abilities, team player
  • Ability to accomplish projects independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Recognize and respect the sensitive nature of the work and maintain the highest confidentiality

Job Description-Office Manager (PT) 2020

Casework Supervisor

The Casework Supervisor supervises CASA volunteers as they advocate in the best interest of children who’ve been abused or neglected and are now involved in a legal case with Child Protective Services. This role is responsible for carrying out the Lone Star CASA mission. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in human services or related field) or minimum of four years commensurate experience
  • Experience in providing staff or volunteer supervision and ability to manage people.
  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Recognize and respect the sensitive nature of the work and maintain confidentiality
  • The ability to work cooperatively with individuals of diverse racial, economic and cultural backgrounds
  • Experience in working with computer software: Microsoft Office suite including Power Point
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, flexible team player with strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
