Lone Star CASA announces 2021 volunteer and board members of the year

Shelley Hays: 2021 Volunteer of the Year

Lone Star Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) announced and celebrated the 2021 volunteer and board members of the year at their annual volunteer appreciation event.  Shelley Hays was named the 2021 volunteer of the year and Kellie Hohenshelt was named the 2021 board member of the year.

In Lone Star CASA’s monthly newsletter, the organization said, “We are so grateful for their service and dedication to our CASA kids.”

In the monthly newsletter, the organization also gave an update on the 17th annual car show that was held over the weekend. The show raised over $73,000 for Lone Star CASA children. Lone Star CASA thanks everyone that participated in the event.
