For 29 years, Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has worked to provide our courts with the information needed to act in the best interests of abused and neglected children in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties, and to ensure that they’re placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.

Welcome to the Advocacy for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Course. This free course was created to equip you to identify victims of trafficking, understand the unique needs of exploited youth, and provide them with the highest level of advocacy. The course is 9 modules and takes approximately 2.5 hours in CASA College.

DFPS – Trauma Informed Care Training (state.tx.us) 

This course is offered through Texas DFPS and provides information on the impact of trauma and how to work with children with trauma.
